Inez Blackburn
Inez Blackburn is a recognized industry expert in category management and CPFR®. Ms. Blackburn has played a pivotal role in implementing category management and activity-based costing for major retailers and has held executive positions for market leading organizations including Nabisco Group Holdings, The Coca-Cola Company, Domtar Inc., AT&T, Safeway Inc., A&P Company and IBM Global Solutions in the Canadian, American and Asian markets.

A frequently requested guest speaker on topics including CPFR®, Demand Forecasting, Category Management, Retail Trends and Technologies and The Impact of Emerging Demographics, Ms. Blackburn presents at major executive conferences and educational institutions including Harvard Business School.

In addition to her program development and facilitation role with VICS, Ms. Blackburn is President of Market Techniques & Innovations Inc. and an adjunct Professor of Marketing at the University of Toronto.

Joseph C. Andraski
Joe Andraski is the President and CEO of VICS (Voluntary Interindustry Commerce Solutions) Association. Prior to joining VICS, Joe held several positions with Nabisco Inc., including Vice President of supply and customer marketing. He had been active with GMA, serving as the chair for the logistics committee and was a member of the ECR Operating committee. He also served as a Senior Vice President of OMI, a retail software provider.

He is considered to be among the retail industry thought leaders and his work has been recognized by Penn State University, Michigan State University, Syracuse University and his alma mater the University of Scranton.  He received the VICS Roger Milliken Career Achievement Award and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals Distinguished Service Award.

Dr. Wenwey Hseush

Since 2000, Dr. Wenwey Hseush has served as the Chairman and CEO of eBizprise Inc. a leading Collaborative Business solution provider. During 1993-1995, Hseush was engaged in research on computer engineering and Internet at Lehman Brother, PainWebber Inc. and other leading organizations on Wall Street.

 

In 1995, Hseush founded Timecruiser Computing Corporation, a developer of innovative community and enterprise portals for the education marketplace. Hseush received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Columbia University in 1994.

James P. McLaughlin - Mr. McLaughlin has been an information systems professional for forty years holding positions in government, distribution, manufacturing and consulting.  His most recent position was Vice President, Global Process and Support Management for the Gillette business unit of The Procter & Gamble Company. 

 

Jim served as Chairman of the VICS CPFR Committee for six years and was a member of the VICS Board of Directors as well as a member of the VICS Executive Committee.

 

Jim’s professional experience includes financial management, information technology strategic planning and development, consulting practice management and applications development management.  In addition he managed the Program Management Office during Gillette’s move to collaborative commerce.

 

Jim has a deep understanding of Supply Chain from a process, data, people,   measurement and systems perspective. He has many years of experience developing solutions from the shop floor to the General Manager’s office.

 

Jim has been in the forefront of change management, specifically outsourcing applications development/support and Help Desk services on a global scale.  He also introduced and managed Six Sigma into the Information Technology function to improve functional effectiveness. He has lead many IT business simplification initiatives including IT support centralization as well as IT organization integration, both internal and through acquisition and he has dealt with the human resource challenges associated with change management.

 

Assignments have been with national, multinational and global corporations with diverse business and information systems requirements and operating practices.  Specific industry experience includes consumer packaged goods, telecommunications, high technology instrumentation, retailing and consulting. Jim’s responsibility levels include CIO, Vice President, and Partner.

 

Jim has been responsible for the acquisition, development and operation of technology products and services that enable the business to meet the corporation’s goals and objectives.  He has sponsored,  managed or facilitated business process redesign initiatives where enabling technology was a key to success.

Matthew Deeter is the President of Deeterwerks, LLC, an independent consulting company focused on improving merchandising and supply chain operations for retailers and their suppliers. 

 

During 1998 – 2006, Matthew was employed by Lowe’s Companies, Inc. as Vice President, Internet Operations and then Vice President, Merchandising Operations.  While employed at Lowe’s, Matt served on the VICS Board of Directors and led the effort to establish Product Data Synchronization standards in the Hardlines industry.

 

Prior to joining Lowe’s, Matthew worked for NCR Corporation in various sales, services and marketing management roles supporting major retail and commercial companies.
